My sabbatical was for the best possible reason…

Yes, I dropped off the face of the earth. But it was for the best possible reason! We are preparing to welcome another soul into our home and family, God has blessed us with another baby!

Pregnancy is often debilitating for me and during the first few months I found myself home bound and unable to work. So I took a sabbatical as our family went into survival mode. Now that I’ve reached the half way point at 20 weeks gestation I’m feeling much better and am more energized. Praise be to God! I’ve returned to my business with joy and excitement!

To all those in our community that helped support our family during this time, we are so incredibly grateful. You were the silver lining in the midst of great struggle.

As much as I love photography, the creative process, and challenging myself as a business owner, I always will say that my favorite part is the community. Finding connection through my work is a tremendous blessing. Whether we become friends through a session, or I have the privilege of taking pictures of my already friends, this medium bonds people in a beautiful way. I greatly look forward to building and strengthening those bonds!

Sending lots of love your way!
